Daniel joined The Reynolds Law Firm in 2020. Daniel specializes in family law, with a focus on negotiation. He has significant experience in trauma-informed practices, and working with survivors in family law cases involving domestic violence and sexual assault.
Prior to joining The Reynolds Law Firm, Daniel’s legal experience included working at The Domestic Violence Clinic at the University of Oregon School of Law. He represented low-income clients in domestic violence and sexual assault cases, often involving divorce, custody, and protective order cases. Additionally, as part of his work at the DV Clinic, Daniel worked in the office of Student Survivor Legal Services, and provided student representation in Title IX cases involving student-survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault at higher education institutions.
Daniel attended the University of Oregon School of Law, where he graduated in 2017 and was admitted to the Oregon State Bar the same year. During law school, Daniel externed for the Springfield City Attorney’s office, spent two semesters at the Domestic Violence Clinic as a Certified Law Student, and interned with ACLU of Oregon’s Legislative Division.
Daniel was born in Central Oregon, and grew up in Sisters, Bend, and Southwest Michigan. He attended Michigan State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications and Information Studies, with a focus on Digital Media, Arts, and Technology. After graduating, he went on to have a successful, 10-year career in the United States Air Force as Korean Cryptologic Linguist, prior to moving back to Oregon and attending law school.
