30 Years After a Landmark Disability Law, the Fight for Access and Equality Continues

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) turns 30 today. Taking inspiration and legal concepts from the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the ADA was designed to protect people with disabilities against discrimination and to ensure that they can participate fully in society.
