Federal Court RulesTransgender Students Must Be Allowed to Use Bathrooms That Match Their Gender

A federal court in Florida has ruled that it is unconstitutional for schools to ban transgender students from using the restroom that matches their gender identity.

The judges affirmed a lower court's ruling stating "a public school may not punish its students for gender nonconformity."
